Holistic counselling provides you with a safe, warm and empathetic space that helps you navigate and process modern day stressors. I use a person-centred approach to inspire you to become more empowered, to help you reconnect with your strength and resilience. Its about listening attentively to what it is you want to change or achieve. 

Holistic counselling is different to traditional therapies as instead of focussing on a disorder or a dysfunction, we concentrate on all the elements that make you you. Your life experiences, your core beliefs and values, your spiritual beliefs and your physical health just to name a few. A core principle within the holistic approach is that the health of the human spirit is essential for healing one’s mind, body and soul. As you begin to open to the idea that the mind, body and soul are interconnected and interact with each other, you will feel more connected to your truths, values and beliefs. You’ll feel more grounded and happier in everyday life, not just going through the motions. Holistic counselling a great alternative for those who have not found answers within traditional therapies.

I use a gentle combination of Mindfulness and Acceptance and commitment therapy to provide a non-judgemental, confidential space to help you identify old limiting belief systems and conditioned behaviours. There are no assessments or labels within the holistic model, just a gentle process of bringing awareness to conscious and unconscious habits that have kept you stuck, clouded your clarity or prevented you from living your best life.

The holistic approach will help you create meaningful changes and process heavy emotions by unifying your mind, body, soul, spirit and purpose. I will support you to stop suppressing your emotions and thoughts which can lead to physical and emotional imbalance.
